Library, sessions and troubleshooting

Find the right store version, understand the queue, and collect useful information when something goes wrong.

A guide to the current development build. Features and availability may change before release.

Choose the right game and store

Browse Favorites and Recently Played, or search by name. After connecting a store through GeForce NOW, refresh the library. A catalog entry is not a game license, and some games need a separate purchase or supported membership.

On a game’s detail screen, choose its store version and preset. Automatic store selection uses a known owned version when available. You can remember a preset specifically for that game.

Keep a favorite launch close

Save up to 20 Quick Launch bookmarks, each with a selected preset. On iPhone and iPad, shortcuts, Spotlight and a Home Screen widget provide additional entry points. Custom presets and bookmarks can sync through iCloud when available.

A bookmark does not bypass sign-in, membership, game ownership or the service queue. If a game leaves the catalog, its old bookmark cannot restore access.

Know what the waiting screen means

The queue screen shows the service’s reported place in line and available wait estimate over the game artwork. Estimates change as rigs become available. Cancel leaves the queue.

If contact with the service is interrupted, a displayed position may be the last reported value. CloudLink does not provide separate queue priority or promise a fixed start time.

Resume, rejoin or end deliberately

Returning to Library can leave your remote game running. Resume returns to the current stream. End Stream asks for confirmation before ending it.

When an existing service session is available, CloudLink can offer Rejoin or Restart. Rejoin depends on the remote session still being usable. CloudLink cannot rejoin a paused service session, but can end it. Restart begins again and can lose unsaved progress.

Network interruptions and some recovery paths remain under development. If recovery fails, note the screen, time and whether audio, video or controls stopped before retrying.

Use Connection Test and History

Connection Test checks the path to GeForce NOW, device conditions and preset compatibility without starting a game. It does not measure download speed or the round trip to the eventual game rig.

History keeps up to 50 qualifying streams and their local measurements. Streams shorter than about 30 seconds may not appear. Connection Test retains up to ten local results. These are CloudLink measurements, separate from NVIDIA’s own session reports.

Use stream statistics to compare the requested settings with received frame rate, bitrate and connection measurements. Network round-trip time alone does not describe total button-to-screen delay.

Choose what to report

Automatic Diagnostics is enabled by default in configured beta and production builds. It sends crashes, fixed technical event labels and limited playback and connection measurements through Sentry to help Ames Consulting investigate failures.

Turn it off in Settings → Diagnostics. Reports exclude account credentials, game titles, typed text, screenshots and recordings. Full local History and raw app logs are not automatically uploaded. Turning it off stops new reports, but does not delete reports already received.

On iPhone and iPad, manual log collection includes available app logs from the current run, up to the last 15 minutes. It does not recover earlier crashed runs. Review the file before choosing to share it privately. Apple TV needs a paired Mac for detailed manual logs.

Send a useful problem report

Include your device, operating-system version, CloudLink build, controller, connection type and the steps before the failure. Say whether the picture froze, audio continued or controls stopped responding.

Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or authentication tokens. Share reviewed diagnostic exports through a private support channel. Automatic reporting cannot capture every failure, so your description still matters.
